What do you tend to do when the SEO work you're doing, isn't helping you rank at all? What if you aren't even on page 1 of Google yet?

A friend of mine has a site that has yet to rank on page 1. He's been doing SEO work for a few months now and I have no clue what his issue is. He has good social media presence, and does a lot of promotion, but hasn't had any success. He does enough SEO work, so idk what gives.

First of all, find out what isn't working and what is. Sometimes it just comes down to what you're doing and whether it's good or not. Sometimes you may need to start from scratch and figure out what is doing it. Research it, do an audit on your site often as well. Check to make sure all is in working order.
